This project was intended to create a three page magazine spread for a prominent cultural character in our society. We were to create one cover page and two pages of text. I chose to cover Bob Ross and focus on his work as an animal rehabilitator. I found text from various articles online for my article and used images of paintings of animals for the imagery as well as pictures of Bob himself with animals he has rescued. I wanted the who piece to have a painterly quality to signify that he is a painter as well as an animal rehabilitator. I chose a font that seemed happy and had a hand drawn quality for my titles and drop quotes.  I chose to use images of animals in the background at a lower opacity as well to tie the pages together. The cover page features painted trees in the background as an homage to his "happy little trees."
