Glacier National Park Magazine and Brochure
This project was a magazine spread about Glacier National Park. I took text and images from their website and created a magazine spread layout to best highlight the features of the park. I chose to cover the history of the park, wildlife, plants, landmarks, glaciers, and things to do. I wanted the images to be a big part of the layout so I chose to make them larger and I tried to include multiple on each page. I wanted to match the color scheme to the images so I took colors from the photographs for the accents.
To go along with the magazine spread, I also created a brochure that included a map that could be handed out at the park entrance and contained information about the park. I kept the same cover image and the same color scheme as the magazine to give it a sense of unity. I wanted to include things to do, information about the glaciers, as well as the "Leave no Trace" rules for the park. I also included pricing information on the back as well as contact information. I tried to include as many photographs as I could not only for reference but to show off the assets of the park.
